DESMI Ocean Guard ends 2014 with orders from 3. Maj Shipyard in Croazia

In late December 2014 DESMI Ocean Guard A/S received orders for RayClean-400 ballast water treatment systems for two new asphalt carriers being built at 3. Maj shipyard in Croazia, for Swedish shipowner Wisby Tankers AB. The systems will all be delivered in 2015.
The RayClean systems were chosen for many reasons, but the small footprint of the very compact skidmounted systems was one of the decisive factors. Also the low power consumption of just 22 - 44 kW depending on water quality, and the tested and approved performance in all salinities and in very dirty water with extremely low UV transmission made the choice clear for both shipyard and shipowner.
DESMI Ocean Guard are thus ending 2014 on a strong note and look forward to continuing the upward trend throughout 2015.
