One more approval of CompactClean BWMS in the bag!

On February 22nd 2019 the CompactClean BWMS UV lamp assembly received EX approvals according to both ATEX and IECEx standards. This means the CompactClean UV lamp assembly is now approved for installation in hazardous areas worldwide. Hazardous areas are areas that can contain explosive atmospheres and are commonly found on tanker vessels.
With the EX approvals of the UV lamp assembly the CompactClean system is now available in a fully EX approved version where all electrical components in the system hold the required certificates. This means DESMI can now install CompactClean EX versions on tankers. In order to ease the approval process each time we install CompactClean on a tanker we will now initiate the process to have the EX-versions of CompactClean included on the IMO type approval certificate, and the soon to come USCG type approval certificate.
