The exhibition takes place in the Metropolitan Expo Centre, Piraeus, Greece. Meet us at stand no: 3.315 where we display the RayCleanTM system, which has recently finalized all the required type approval testing according to both IMO and USCG requirements.

On June 2’nd to 6’th DESMI Ocean Guard A/S participates in the POSIDONIA 2014 exhibition. We look forward to meet with our current and future clients, suppliers and anyone else who is interested in ballast water treatment. Please visit us at stand no: 3.315 where we, amongst other things, will display a RayClean UV-unit, capable of treating 300 m3/h of ballast water.

 

At the same time we are happy to announce that all required type approval testing of the RayCleanTM ballast water treatment system has been completed. All testing was conducted in accordance with both IMO and US Coast Guard requirements, under the supervision of DNV who is a certified Independent Laboratory tot the US Coast Guard. The test reports and other required documentation is currently under review by DNV, and we expect the IMO Type Approval certificate to be released shortly.

 

DESMI Ocean Guard A/S was established by A.P. Moller – Maersk A/S, DESMI A/S and UltraAqua A/S in 2009. The company is located in Aalborg, Denmark, and its main activity is development and sales of systems for removal of living organisms from ballast water discharged by ships. The company has already developed one IMO type approved and US Coast Guard AMS accepted system, the OxyCleanTM system.
