BWTS and Pumps for 7 new Maersk container ships
The First of seven shipsets will be shipped in May, 2016.
DESMI has had a great collaboration with COSCO Zhoushan Shipyard in China regarding the planning and delivery of pumps and ballast water treatment systems for the seven new 3,600 teu container ships. The new vessels are owned by Maersk Line and will be built to Danish Flag and Lloyds Register classification. DESMI will deliver a broad ranged pump package and 2 x 500 m3/h RayCleanTM ballast water treatment systems for each vessel.
The ships will be built according to Lloyds Register’s Rules and Regulations and will have Ice Class 1A and have a length of 200 meters and a breadth of 35.2 meters.
We are very pleased that COSCO Zhoushan, in conjunction with Maersk, has chosen DESMI and we are looking forward to working closely together on this important project.
